Regina has been organizing since 1996, starting as a teenage volunteer and growing into a national leader in community and electoral organizing. Over two decades, she’s worked with grassroots organizations like ACORN, Planned Parenthood, and the LA LGBTQ Center on campaigns for childcare, healthcare, housing, and marriage equality. A pioneer of modern deep canvassing, she helped launch early efforts after Prop 8 and scaled them nationally as Freedom to Marry’s Field Director.
Most recently, Regina has focused on building power in Western and Plains states through the Movement Voter Project, bringing deep canvassing to red and rural communities. She now supports competitive House districts with an eye toward building long-term political homes and fighting rising authoritarianism.
