Sally, whose own son has faced similar health challenges, shared her family's journey, instantly turning a standard door-knock into a moment of deep mutual support. Not only did Pat and Sally help Melissa register to vote right at her doorstep, but Sally walked away with a powerful reminder of how storytelling and raw human connection can completely transform a conversation.
