Patty and Wei spoke with two women whose husbands are undocumented and are fearful to leave the house. They are concerned as well for their many friends with the same sense of vulnerability and lack of safety.

"We are voting because we want to make sure relatives who are not yet citizens can stay safely in this country."

Darius and Joanna spoke with a Pastor who used to be conservative, but after his son came out and got married, he transformed his views to be more supportive of his gay son and son-in-law.

Justin, a 19-year-old from a troubled home, was interested and responsive to our discussion. He can't discuss politics with his parents but was very clear about his concerns with Trump and the importance of this election. He concluded that there was "nothing in the way" of his voting. He expressed interested in working with Trust Brigade.

Barb answered the door and told us about her 2 adult handicap children and how she felt that the schools had failed them. She works hard for them and doesn't get any support. She told us she wasn't registered to vote and we gave her information on how to get registered.

Gabe and his wife feel strongly it is their duty to vote and be responsible for their community.

Trudy spoke with a voter that is concerned that the country is going to end up in a civil war and is also angry that agricultural workers are being dismissed by policy makers.

We spoke with a voter that is concerned with the cost of living and the healthcare system. They feel that social security isn't enough and that people are discriminating against the elderly. They are also angry about the Epstein files and the lack of accountability and consequences.

Martha and Larry spoke with a Somali immigrant woman who is concerned about her family in Saudi Arabia. She is worried about the war and deportations.

Bobbie and Jim spoke with a 20-year-old who has never voted but wants to vote now. He is afraid for his father with ICE and worried about jobs.

One voter told us that, "the system doesn't work for people like me. It works for the wealthy." They think Trump is trashing the rule of law and wants Trump and Gabe Evans to listen to all of their constituents. They are concerned for future generations.

Pat, Beth, and Lindy spoke to several voters. One was a hospital worker that was upset about ICE in hospitals. Another was scared about active shooter drills in schools and that their kids are scared that their immigrant friends will be taken away. And yet another couple of voters are ok that ICE exists as an agency, but they are totally opposed to its current actions.
